
Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast
This Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast is a simple, protein-packed breakfast that layers creamy avocado, savory smoked salmon, and a perfectly cooked egg on crisp toast. It’s fresh, satisfying, and perfectly balanced with bright lemon and basil to bring everything together.
Ingredients
- 1 Slice of Sourdough Toast
- 1/4 Avocado
- 2 oz Smoked Salmon
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Fresh Basil
- 1/4 tsp Lemon Juice
- Salt
- Pepper

Toast your bread to your preferred level of crispness. Since the avocado will soften the toast, I recommend toasting it slightly longer than usual.

Cook your egg in a small pan however you prefer, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the toast is ready, mash ¼ of an avocado directly onto the warm bread. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of pepper. You can skip the salt, as the smoked salmon will already add enough saltiness.

Layer the smoked salmon over the avocado, then top with your cooked egg. Finish with fresh basil as a garnish.
